Our response to this multiple requirement has been the development of ClinWise^®.

ClinWise^® is a modular system designed for the support of various kinds of project. It focusses upon project overviews, information flow, data-handling and data analysis, and presentation of results. In a market dominated by powerful, established systems it is our aim to cater specifically at the needs of small and medium-sized businesses that have an especial appreciation of the dynamics and working methods of small providers and are able to exploit the advantages of their operating procedures and cost structures.

ClinWise^® Research — Service for Clinical Research

Project guidance and data management in Phase I to Phase III clinical trials for marketing authorisation as well as in post-marketing and observational studies.

ClinWise^® can be used for conducting clinical trials with data acquisition either by conventional recording on paper or by direct electronic data entry. The system achieves especial flexibility thanks to its ability to integrate electronic patient's diaries — as used, for example, to record pain sensation, well-being, or the times and intensities of symptoms. Furthermore, with the help of ClinWise^®, a firm's own data structures can be developed and implemented; this includes the facility of migrating early data into up-to-date stores, and overcoming any heterogeneity between the source and destination databases. ClinWise^® adheres to the GCP/ICH guidelines and the requirements of the FDA for software products in the context of clinical studies.

ClinWise^® HealthCare — Support for Research in Health-Care Provision

The acquisition of data on health-care provision from routine clinical care of patients.

ClinWise^® furnishes the doctor's practice with an instrument for indication-related documentation and to support the consultation in connection with the patient management system used at the practice. Likewise, ClinWise^® provides a medium to involve the patient actively in the evaluation of his/her status and the course and result of treatment. For this purpose, ClinWise^® offers a range of different ways of putting questions to the patient electronically during the visit to the physician's practice, during a home visit or by means of mobile electronic patient's diaries.
