A topic of pressing social interest.

In co-operation with health-care providers and committed pharmaceutical companies, we conduct research into the following issues, with active involvement of the patients and the potential beneficiaries where appropriate:

• The state of, and standard of, care in particular indications,
• Therapeutic concepts and options, and their clinical results,
• Predictors of disease and of treatment success,
• The overall therapeutic process and its costs
  (an expensive therapy can ultimately prove to be the more beneficial and cheaper option if it results in the avoidance of subsequent disorders and their associated costs).

Quality management

We believe that the application of quality management to the optimisation of processes and results is in itself a special kind of research into health-care provision. Quality management is only meaningful when new observations and conclusions drawn from documented experience are reflected in the medical care given by individual physicians. Thus quality management is to be regarded as a process that has a goal — namely, to improve the efficiency of medical intervention and prevention. Our aim is thus to find the common denominator that relates our experience to your needs and requirements.
